Michael
A. Cerelli has served the special events industry
for 15 years. Mike previously served as President
and CEO of Explosion Lighting & Draping Company,
a theatrical lighting and technical production
company he founded in 1990. Also known as “Mr.
BIG”, currently serves as Chief Executive
Officer of BIG Events a full services production
company providing all the technical aspects of
an event, décor and scenery with locations
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Cherry Hill,
New Jersey.
Mike has served
as president of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter
of ISES and Regional Vice President of the
North East Region. Mike is proud of the numerous
awards he has received throughout his career,
especially the prestigious ISES Esprit Award
for Technical Production Excellence for the
lighting of the Boat parade on the Delaware
River in Philadelphia. |

While
Jim is fairly new to ISES he is appreciative of
the opportunity to serve as one of the original
Directors for the New Jersey South Chapter. Jim
is Vice President of Conventions/Hotel Sales at
Harrah's Entertainment- Atlantic City Region, which
includes: Bally's; Caesar's; Harrah's; Showboat
and the Atlantic City Country Club. He has over
20 years experience in the hospitality industry
and prior to joining Harrah's, was the Assistant
Vice President of Sales for the Tropicana Casino
and Resort.
Jim has his Certified
Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Hospitality
Marketing Executive (CHME) designations and is
a graduate of Rutger's University School of Business
with a degree in Hospitality Management. Jim
also serves on the Board of the United Way of
Atlantic County and the Chamber of Commerce Southern
New Jersey. |

Jackie
has over 25 years experience in the hospitality
and customer service industries spanning everything
from owning her own restaurant for more than a
decade, to business management and interior design.
Educated in Business and Art, she now enjoys her
career being a part of the Event Planning team
at Events Plus.
Jackie lives on a
small farm in South Jersey with her husband of
29 years, and her 2 daughters. Her hobbies
include painting, traveling, and boating, not
to be overshadowed by her passion for her small
herd of llamas. |

Marion
is Director of Corporate Development for Concorde
Limousine Worldwide, Inc. in Freehold, NJ since
2005. Concorde is also affiliated with MPI, NJBTA,
NJBIA and the Limousine Association of New Jersey.
Active with Community Services, Marion heads up
the Toys for Tots program, Cellphone for Soldiers
and is fostering a Troop of Sky Soldiers stationed
in Afghanistan. Not new to customer service related
fields, Marion has 25 years experience in the travel
industry and 20 years as an Aerobic Instructor.
Marion and her husband Bill have been married for
35 years and have three daughters that still keep
them very active and young at heart! |

Thomas
joined ISES in January 2003 and served as a Board
member with the Philadelphia chapter. With over
twenty-five years in the entertainment industry
spanning Las Vegas, New York and Atlantic City,
Thomas recently formed the National Entertainment
Company. National Entertainment is a New Jersey
based full service Production Company, which specializes
in production shows, corporate events, and environmental
entertainment.
With an affiliate
office in Las Vegas, National has produced events
for Caesars, Harrah’s, and Tropicana in
addition to major corporations’ such as
Verizon. His hobbies include singing with the
big band, “One Voice”. |

Kathy
joined ISES in 1994 and presently serves on the
ISES International Board of Governors and the International
Certification Committee. Additionally, she is on
the Board of Directors for MPI North Jersey Chapter.
Her past industry leadership positions include
ISES Northeast Regional Vice-President in 2002/2003,
Past President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter
of ISES in 2001/2002, and VP of Education in Philadelphia
where she also chaired several committees.
Kathy has attained
both the Certified Special Event Professional
and Certified Meeting Planner designations and
has over 25 years of industry experience. She
is the President and Founder of Events Plus,
Inc. a full service event planning company in
Collingswood serving both the corporate and non-profit
sectors. She has produced special events throughout
the country and in Europe. In her “spare” time,
Kathy enjoys sharing laughs with her two sons,
traveling, experiencing new adventures, and her
pursuit of historical interests; particularly,
her study of Benjamin Franklin. |

Barbara
Flamenbaum is the founder and president of Atlantic
City Ambassador, LLC, a destination management
company offering event services to groups visiting
Atlantic City and the surrounding areas. She has
more than 20 years experience in the hospitality
industry, previously working in the casino industry
in the special events, marketing, and customer
service divisions.
Barbara earned the
destination management certified professional
(DMCP) designation from the Association of Destination
Management Executives (ADME), making her the
first and only New Jersey member to reach this
level of excellence in her profession and the
highest achievement in the destination management
industry.
Barbara graduated from
Temple University with a degree in social work.
She also and lived in Israel for 15 years and speaks
fluent Hebrew. She has served on the ISES NJ South
Chapter’s Nominating and Program Committees,
and was pleased to be appointed to the Board in
hopes of contributing to the chapter’s growth.

Andrew
Lovell, Sales Director at Adventure Aquarium, is
responsible for the attraction’s Special
Event, Group and Annual Pass sales. He was added
to the Aquarium’s management team during
the construction phase in November 2004, rebuilt
the sales department and began communicating a
new brand and an improved product to customers. Since
their May 2005 grand opening, Andrew and his facility
sales team have successfully elevated Adventure
Aquarium to a top Special Event venue in the Philadelphia
area, hosting events such as PAMPI’s Annual
Awards Gala, Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce’s
Taste of South Jersey, and numerous other corporate,
convention and social functions.
Andrew served
as Nominating Committee Chair for the recent
ISES NJ South Chapter board election, and was
then appointed to the board by the President. He
brings ten years of sales experience in attractions
and sports/entertainment venues to the ISES
Board and is eager to contribute to the Chapter’s
growth. |
