Your image speaks volumes about you and your business. Perception is everything! Do you know what your business and personal image is or how you present your business and yourself to the world? A positive image is more important than we think in our growth and development. Sharon Phillips Waxman will discuss some tips and tricks on boosting business- and self-image. Speaker
Sharon Phillips Waxman's professional experience includes more than 25 years and combines the fields of Fashion and Special Events Marketing Production. Her company, SPW Productions, LLC, is a full-service special events production company handling both large and small-scale events marketing and strategic planning.
Sharon graduated from New Jersey's Glassboro State with a BA in Communications. Her talents in special and fashion-related events developed while working for Gimbels in Philadelphia from 1980 through 1983. She held several executive positions, including fashion coordinator and Thanksgiving Day Parade costume and make-up coordinator, giving her an introduction to both special events and the fashion industry.
As Owner/Director of Phillips Models in Philadelphia, a full-service modeling agency, she managed talent for fashion and commercial print, radio, television, convention, promotion and runway modeling. In addition, Ms. Waxman owned and operated Allure Finishing and Modeling School in Philadelphia.
Sharon also served as special events consultant for Synergistic Concepts, Inc. in New York, and was responsible for the creative and operational execution of major events including the Philadelphia Freedom Festival, Baltimore Columbus Day Celebration, Maryland Preakness Parade, the Philadelphia Welcome Home Parade, Baltimore Families of Faith Parade celebrating the visit of Pope John Paul II, and a "Snapple Parade" staged for television, under the direction of Spike Lee.
Sharon Phillips Waxman is the past Regional Director of Fashion Group International of Philadelphia. She is a member of the board of directors for the Mid-Atlantic Festivals and Events Association, as well as a member of the International Festivals and Events Association. She sits on the Moore College of Art and Design fashion advisory board, and The Art Institute of Philadelphia's fashion advisory board, and is an adjunct professor at Moore College of Art and Design.

A unique and special place that has been serving Moorestown and its surrounding communities since 1926. Today, as in years past, the Community House is home to scores of clubs and organizations. Behind its stately façade are a ballroom, meeting rooms, offices for nonprofit organizations, and a heated indoor swimming pool. Rooms are available for a whole host of social functions including meetings, birthday, anniversary, wedding receptions, and other special occasions. walk, swim lessons and scuba lessons.

DIRECTIONS
The Moorestown Community House is located in the heart of Moorestown, right in the middle of the street. There is a parking lot directly behind our building.
From Philadelphia via Tacony Bridge or Betsy Ross Bridge:
Take Route 73 South.
Exit onto Route 41 North (Kings Highway)
Kings Highway turns into Main Street in Moorestown
16 East Main Street is on the Right (large brick building)
From Philadelphia via Ben Franklin Bridge:
Take Route 30 East to Route 38 East
Travel approximately 8 miles on Route 38 East and take the right-hand jug handle on Church Street (cross over Route 38 heading North on Church Street)
Turn right at the first traffic light onto Main Street
