Go Green Catering!
“Go Green!” “What are you doing to be Green?” “Is your Caterer Green?” Whatever the mantra or question, “GO GREEN” is on everyone’s mind these days. You are asking your township; your family and friends are asking everyone; and most importantly, your clients are asking you how your events are green. By now we all know that there are many ways to GO GREEN in every aspect of what we do and that a little bit goes a far way. We also know that the more we can offer to our clients as a GREEN alternative, the happier they are. What we may not know are the details in how to this.
We are excited to educate you on green catering. Joe Palombo, Owner and Chef of Joe Palombo’s Mirabella Café, is now offering green catering. He is on the board for Sustainable Cherry Hill and is also the creator of the new SJ Green Restaurant Association (to be launched in April 2009 just in time for Earth Day). He knows a lot about KEEPING IT GREEN. Chef Palombo will be here to tell us what we need to know about ensuring that the GREEN we offer our clients is authentically green. He will answer our questions on what he and local caterers should be doing to go green, stay green and be a valuable resource to our clients. Additionally, he can help us to keep our entire event green including how to find local green resources like venues, vendors and more.

Chef Palombo’s almost 30 years in the business spans being an assistant chef, head chef and executive chef as well as management within Lamberti Restaurant Group and marketing and managing the opening of popular South Jersey restaurants. DIRECTIONS
From Philadelphia:
- Walt Whitman Bridge to 295 North.
- Exit 31 (Woodcrest Station) make a left at the light, then right at the 2nd light which will be Burnt Mill Road.
- Follow until next light, make a right. (Evesham Road).
- Make the 2nd left onto Preston Ave-continue to #333 on the right.
From North:
- New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 4.
- 73 North to 295 South to Exit 31 (Woodcrest Station) make a left at light, then right at the 2nd light which will be Burnt Mill Road.
- Follow until next light, make a right. (Evesham Road).
- Make the 2nd left onto Preston Ave-continue to #333 on the right.
From Shore Points and Points South:
- A.C. Expressway North to Exit 31E (Winslow Exit Rt. 73 North).
- Left on Evesham Road.
- Cross Haddonfield-Berlin Road.
- Cross Burnt Mill Road.
- Make the 2nd left onto Preston Avenue.
- Continue on to # 333 on the right
